2011-12 STUDENT MATINEE SERIES

at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts

"Dance, music, theatre and visual arts are everywhere in our lives, adding depth and dimension to the environment we live in and shaping our experiences, often so deeply or subtly that we are unaware of their presence. In any civilization, the arts are inseparable from the very meaning of the term "education."

- Arizona Department of Education
"Rationale Statement for the Arts."

Copperstar is proud to present our student matinee series in partnership with the HCPA. This has been a popular aspect of our productions and we encourage teachers and administrators to bring students to a show. Copperstar wants to encourage attendance of live theatre, thereby enriching the lives of students and building the audiences of tomorrow.
