Copperstar regularly has workshops on a variety of subjects. Often, Copperstar will offer special workshops or events with artists, directors and choreographers from out of town. Join our email list in order to hear about them first. Our season subscribers get all the first info and often get early bird or show discounts.
LEGALLY BLONDE AUDITION WORKSHOP
Friday - January 11th 2013 - 5:30PM to 9:30PM
We will help you with song selection, presentation and every other aspect of auditioning for theatre or just about anything. You will learn the LEGALLY BLONDE audition dance combination and music from callbacks as well.
Space is limited and accepted on a first come basis and will close when workshop is full or at 5:30pm Jan. 10, 2013 (whichever occurs first)
AUGUST 18TH AUDITION WORKSHOP
August 18th - All Day Event
On August 18 we will have our first workshop of the 12-13 season. Work with Copperstar Directors and learn how to prepare, what to wear, what to do and how to do it. You will leave feeling more confident and secure and are bound to be more succeessful in any audition!
The Audition Workshop is a full day event on August 18th and is open to all ages. Ages 6 and under required to attend with a parent. Ages 7-12 parents should attend from 1pm - 3:30pm.
TEEN DANCE AND LES MISÉRABLES PREP NIGHT
August 21st from 5:30-9pm
Come for a performance dance practice and to prepare for our upcoming production of Les MisÉrables student edition. This 3 1/2 hour rehearsal is highly encouraged for anyone interested in participating in Les Mis - but will benefit any teen looking for experience in musical performance dance.
Rehearsal starts on August 21st from 5:30-9pm, and is specifically for teens and experienced performers ages 12 -19 years.
PROJECT HAUNTED HOUSE
Project begins September 1st
ACT SCARY! Join us for this amazing project! This is the perfect opportunity for families , friends, fathers and sons to work together on something super fun and original! Beginning September 1st, learn special effects make-up, lighting, sound and design, develop and act in this spectacularly scary Copperstar Haunted House!
The Haunted House Project begins September 1st is for ages 12 and up.
