Who Can Audition?

Anyone! We are a unique organization because we often have entire families in a show or working on a show at the same time! Last season we had an 8 month old baby and several families of three to six in our shows! At Copperstar we encourage all community members to audition for our productions. We strive to bring the community together through participation in the arts.

We have had many families participate in shows together and are told it has brought them closer together! Theatre gives a tremendous gift to its participants by developing new friendships and strengthening old ones. Come on and give it a try. It’s a lot of fun! Ages needed for each production will vary, but this season includes a wide range. You are never too old, but children under the age of seven will need a parent in the cast. Check out the CURRENT AUDITIONS page for more information.

There is a participation fee for the cast of Copperstar shows. However, we do not want any of our fees to keep cast members from participating. Limited scholarships and trade for fees is available. Please discuss at your audition or callback if interested. This fee is paid to Copperstar upon being cast in the show and must be paid through PayPal by 5pm on August 26 (first rehearsal). Instructions will be provided to those cast in the show.
